Michelin Star Chef Dominik Käppeler at Lily Beach Resort Maldives

From the 27th March to 8th April 2019, Lily Beach Resort & Spa is honoured to welcome Michelin starred chef Dominik Käppeler.

Chef Dominik Käppeler, together with our Executive Chef Lionel Pean, will combine their talents to create unique culinary experiences at the resort’s restaurants, Les Turquoise d’Aqva, Aqva Bar, Vibes Bar and Lily Maa. Guests visiting us will be able to enjoy mouth-water menus beautifully paired with quality wines chosen by our head sommelier, Joseph Christopher.

Son of a restaurant owner, Chef Dominik Käppeler developed his passion for cooking during his early years. He started at Feinkost Käfer in Munich in 2003 and slowly but steadily moved to the top. In 2015, working as Head Chef at Schweiger 2 in Munich, he was awarded his first Michelin star. In 2017, he took over the restaurant and renamed it Showroom.
