The countdown is on, it’s that wonderful time of year again when everything sparkles, the champagne flows and gifts are exchanged. If you’ve decided to spend your festive season with us here at Lily Beach Resort & Spa Maldives you will be delighted to hear that the Christmas and New Year program is jam-packed full of fun and exciting activities, sumptuous gala dinners, and all wrapped up in our beautifully decorated tropical paradise.

Our festivities begin on 23rd December for our younger guests with Christmas crafts and games, lots of fun, dinner and a movie whilst adults can get into the spirit of the season with relaxation at Tamara Spa. The activities for kids continue throughout the entire festive season making it a Christmas to remember. Join us for Christmas carols and the tree lighting ceremony to really get into the spirit of the season.

The main celebrations start in style on 24th December with the arrival of Santa as he finds time in his busy schedule to stop by at Lily Beach and afterwards, the Christmas Eve Gala Buffet at Lily Maa where our Executive Chef invites you for an exquisite selection of seasonal specialities. In-between Christmas and New Year, the entertainment continues with fun for all ages featuring captivating performances by renowned painter Elvira Carrasco, magician Adrian Chong, and the dazzling fire dancer Ihor. Guests can participate in Elvira’s art sessions, have their portraits painted, or simply marvel at her talent. Elvira will be on the island through to January 1st, concluding with an art exhibition.

New Year’s Eve is jam-packed full of activities and events – this is when magician Adrian Chong will amaze guests with his mind-bending illusions. Later in the evening, Ihor the fire dancer will astound with his spectacular fire and LED performances – adults and kids alike will be spellbound. As midnight approaches, guests will gather to reminisce about 2024 and have the opportunity to burn away regrets at the Bon Voyage Bonfire, a Lily Beach tradition. Then it’s time to countdown to the New Year and welcome 2025 in in style by dancing the rest of the night away!
