Roman Safiullin is a Russian tennis player who enjoyed early success when, as a junior player, he won the Australian Open in 2015. He claimed his first Challenger titles in 2020 and made his Grand Slam debut in 2021. The following year he reached his first ATP semifinal. 2023 saw him reach his first Grand Slam quarter final at Wimbledon and broke into the top 40.
